There was originally a charming wooden cabin dating back to 1926, and the architects wanted to maintain the charm, atmosphere and simplicity of the original. The end.

I've looked closer and I think they are a red-copper penny round tile. still nice.
Yes, they are a red round tile...like a circular mosiac pattern...it is such an unexpected find in this cosy cabin! Love it!
